If you want to enjoy your life, live it like a song, peacefully going along with it.
Usually the goal of life for most people is to improve it. But while listening to music no one imagines that it is supposed to improve as it goes along. The joy of music is discovered in every moment of playing it and listening to it. Similarly the joy of life is discovered in living every moment of it.
Suppose you got stuck in a job no one likes – cleaning dishes. You have a choice either be stressed while cleaning dishes, thinking about some other job in which you can best utilize your talent OR enjoy the miracle of life being fully aware of the cold and warm sensations of soapy water, dishes etc.
Remember if you are incapable of enjoying your present job, you will be incapable of enjoying your next job, because you didn’t learn to treat your life as a song.
