We all wait at some point in our lives. It can be a wait at the traffic signal. It can be a wait at a queue on some airport. It can be a wait to earn some degree or qualification etc.
These waits are good for our lives. They impart a very valuable quality – “patience” to our personality.
We also wait for a prettier or more a more compatible lady, or a more handsome or a richer guy to fall in love with, than any present choice.
This wait is non-productive.
For me any relationship we enter into, whether it ends up in suffering or growing is necessary for our lives.
Every person with whom we get emotionally connected gives us a gravitational slingshot. We get experience for our next relationship.
