Walt Disney was fired from a newspaper because “he lacked imagination and had no good ideas.” Then he started several businesses which all ended in failure. But all these failures only spurred Walt Disney’s burning desire to succeed. Eventually what was called his “lack of imagination” created a billion dollar empire that is still enjoyed by millions of children and adults every year. Had Disney not failed earlier it would have been impossible to build such a colossal empire.
Everyone gets setbacks in life. There are some who take it personally and give up. And there are some who ask after every failure, “no problem, who’s next?” and keep going. To which group do you belong?
