Humans are made up of clay. How is it possible that beings made of clay fall in love with one another?
According to an Irish tradition, for millions of years the clay of your lover and you laid as one. Then God divided and separated the same clay into two separate individuals, embodying soul to it. As you two were created from the same clay your soul secretly mourned the loss of its other part, even without your knowledge.
This is the reason why in this world people fall in love. Their souls actually recognize their missing part and longs to join.
Remember you can never find love even if you search the whole world, love finds you. You can never find God, but God finds you. Similarly you can never find death, but death finds you.
