Some time ago I used to give money to beggars. But then I said to myself why am I giving money to beggars? Is it because I think they are good for nothing? Is it because I think they can’t earn their living?
I said no! It shouldn’t be that any person on earth is not able to earn his or her living. Even Helen Keller who was blind and deaf earned a decent living, so why can’t these people who have got each and every limb of their bodies functional, can’t earn their living?
It seemed to me that while giving money to beggars I thought that the world is lacking with not too many opportunities for everyone. Then I realized that the world is lacking only for those who believe it. I should not help these beggars continue to live a life of misery.
