My little daughter knows exactly what she wants, what she likes, and how to express her feelings. In short, she trusts life, she trusts her friends and she trusts me and her mother.
Yet somewhere along our paths, we change. We’re taught that life is limited, we must struggle to get our share of the pie. The single-minded focus of our schooling is goal-oriented rather than to enjoy the path or the process through which they are achieved. Our progress is judged by our marks, from kindergarten to getting into university. We start to live in a reactionary state, mindlessly pursuing our goals rather than consciously and mindfully remaining in a state of present awareness.
Once you let go the mindless pursual of your goals and start to enjoy the path, your path will automatically lead you to your goals. You might be a bit late, but better be late than never #FeelHearty.
