Any relationship especially marriage is just like planting a tree – it takes your time, effort and commitment. Great relationships happen not only because two people love each other very much, but they must also value one another and must be willing to make an investment of time into the relationship – day after day.
If you look at nature, hard and rigid trees don’t survive storms; flexible ones do. Trees which survive great storms come out stronger. It’s similar with relationships.
Pride and ego determine the rigidness in a person’s character. Whenever a difference with your partner arises ask this question from yourself: “Would I rather be right, or happy?”
I mostly choose happy, and #feelhearty, what about you?
