Many times it happens that when you do something creative, create something out of the box, go against the mainstream, it can even be doing yoga on a public place etc. but get so much criticism that it takes away your motivation to do more of that. Why it happens? Why people oppose something new? Especially when it conflicts with some radical old thinking.
It’s not because you did something wrong, it was just like what Lady Gaga suggested above, their eyes got so used to looking in darkness, like night owls that they couldn’t see the tremendous light that came out of your work.
