One tip that I found to be extremely useful in working toward getting in shape is never to aim for “weight loss.” If you work toward losing weight, no matter what kind of exercise you do, what kind of diet you take, you won’t lose weight in the long run. It’s because subconsciously you are always thinking about “weight” and that’s what you’ll keep.
Replace the word “weight loss” in your dictionary to “health enhancement.” If you exercise don’t exercise to lose weight, but to enhance your health. If you eat, don’t eat to keep your weight low or lose weight but to enhance your health.
