We are very much like trees. Trees always grow in two opposite directions. First in darkness into the depths of the earth and second high up in the light.
Roots of a tree must traverse the depths of darkness so that its branches rise high and high. If you cut the dark roots of the tree it will cease to exist.
In the same way we must traverse both sides of the paths – the dark path of desire and the illuminated path of enlightenment. The deeper we satisfy our desires the more we get enlightened and our minds get illuminated.
But we must feed our desires the pure waters from the sacred wells that rise from the depths of darkness.
Darkness holds both good and evil, it’s up to us where we direct our roots – #FeelHearty
