Being in IT I’ve been interviewing/being part of interview process throughout my career. Usually every interviewer has a long list of expectations from the candidates. The candidate who gets checked against the most items gets hired.
The dilemma we face in our personal lives is that we expect others to accept us unconditionally without any such laundry list of expectations.

What if your first date becomes such an interview?
What if you apply the same laundry list expectations to your spouse?
What if the same laundry list expectations are applied to you by your spouse?
Such a list is always a recipe for failure in any relationship.
