Making it a habit.

If you want to live a happy life then you must define your values and live by them – consistently.

Suppose you attend gym by 6 O’Clock after office. This is one of your values for a healthy life and everyone in your office knows about that. Now you’ve got a project deadline and everyone is working late. What would you do?

First of all, working late is an unhealthy practice. If you won’t go to the gym you’d be opting for an unhealthy habit and probably decreasing your lifespan.

If your daily routine is going to the gym and once in a blue moon you sacrifice it for office work then it’s a sacrifice and people seldom ask for sacrifices. But if you skip the gym every now and then, then no one will have any compunction in stopping you for more work.
